With over 15 years of Music Production experience, beatsbyDeee (real name DerekM) has focused his talents in the genres of Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Dance, Reggae, and Musical Compositions for various media platforms including: web and T.V. production. 

beatsbyDeee started his musical career in the mid-90's during the Hip-Hop industries Golden-era. His influences included: Dr. Dre, The Hitmen, Q-Tip, Teddy Riley, Rick Rubin, and many more. As a Producer, what  set him apart was his dedication to creating quality music. We are in a time where simplicity rules the airwaves, but he believes our souls still long for the sweet complexity of instrumentation.

In December 2017, beatsbyDeee released #lovebreaksfear. A 13-track project that focused on the journey of love and relationships. Working with artists from all over the globe #lovebreaksfear was an album about journey of love, and loving yourself again. In August 2023, along with legendary Orlando MC Nevahdless, beatsbyDeee released the epic album "The Eleventh Hour."
